Current application focus is on chemical and biochemical separation, detection, and analysis.

One of our core technologies is built around surface nano-modification on a number of materials and formats. Application of this technology has led to incredible improvement of HPLC packing materials and commercialization of our unique Venusil brand HPLC products and Cleanert purification media. Application of this technology for a sample micro-extraction is underway. Our surface nano-modification technology will also significantly increase efficiency and sensitivity of chemical and biochemical selective enrichment and detection for chip or particle-based products.This technology may also be used to develop well-defined nano-filtration materials with low back pressure.

We have also developed technologies for surface modification of nano particles, specifically, nano-silica particles to obtain desired functionality on nanosilica surfaces. Functionalized nano-silica is an inert, low-cost material that will provide a wide range of applications.
