The rare chilly weather in Orange County didn’t hinder the hot world’s annual premier Conference and Exposition on laboratory science.
During the four-day show time, Agela Technologies’ booth 3125 welcomed hundreds of visitors, including distributors and end-users from all over the world, such as United States, China, United Kingdom, Israel, Japan, Brazil, Philippines, India, France, Italy, Canada, Singapore and etc.
Besides Agela’s core chromatography consumables, such as HPLC columns, purification products, and SPE cartridges and wellplates, we added some new equipment this year at the show.
One of our key instruments this year is CHEETAHTM Flash Purification System. After granted gold award at 2009 Beijing Conference and Exhibition of Instrumental Analysis (BCEIA), CHEETAHTM made its debut in the US market at Pittcon 2010. The system was showcased at DemoLabTM and attracted a lot of audience by its easy operation and high performance to cost value.
And this system is fully supported by our full line of purification products, including flash columns, bulk media, and our newly introduced TLC plates.
New in our equipment family is our SPE-1 Automated Processing Station, which provides maximum speed, accuracy and simplicity for extracting a wide range of samples. The six-channel SPE-1 is ideal for automated high-throughput sample preparation in environmental or food analysis.
Agela has also developed some novel SPE phases, such as PEP-H, which is equivalent to Waters Oasis HLB, and PEP-2, which is very efficient in extracting extremely polar compounds from aqueous samples.
HPLC columns have always been our star. Unisol C18, Unisol Amide and Venusil ASB columns are very popular among our customers for a variety of applications.
Durashell C18 joined us this year at Pittcon for high pH applications with better separation efficiency and peak shape, extended life time and larger loading capacity.
During the show, Agela also proudly introduced a new filtration product line with very competitive prices, including syringe filters, sterilized syringe filters, membrane filters, 96-well filtration plates and glass filtration systems.
Besides the display at our booth, Agela was honored to present 8 posters at Pittcon 2010, with contents covering novel HPLC chemistry, brand new SPE technologies and applications.
We also worked with Chinese American Chromatography Association for an off-site workshop, “Bridging North America and China in Chromatography Technologies and Business”. Dr. Jerry Wang presided the session and presented “Development and Applications of SPE Technologies in China”.
